About me
I'm Roberta, a junior UX/UI designer based in the Netherlands. My design journey is driven by a strong belief that there's always something new to learn in this field. My focus lies in trying to develop designs that are both consistent and simple, as I believe these principles not only create visually appealing aesthetics but also contribute to a seamless user experience. In the world of UX design, I find fulfilment in the continuous pursuit of growth and the creation of meaningful, intuitive experiences.

02 Holland Market
Client
The client is a dutch store in the USA named Vander Veen's. They have been the best importer of Dutch products in the USA for over 80 years. They help Dutch people in America order the national Dutch food. Vander Veen’s have a broad variety of products that they offer to customers, and they deliver it directly to customers' homes.
Problem Statement
The biggest problem of the website is a lack of visual hierarchy and hard readability of the website. The list of products is displayed in a row with bold text and tiny images. Also, the category of the item and navigation bar are not clear to understand and to scan at a glance. This makes users feel overwhelmed when exploring the website.

03 Game development
Game development minor
During my time in university I went to a game development minor. As I’m a big fan of playing games myself, that was a huge opportunity to learn how to be part of the game development team. I have some skill in drawing so, I focused on creating characters, concept art, and the game's user interface for a 2.5D horror platform game with a fog of war mechanic. I designed the game's eerie visuals and interface, contributing to the overall spooky atmosphere.
